David De Mata is a musician, singer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work spans performance, production, and sound design. Winner of the Argentine Recording Competition organized by the Audio Engineering Society (AES), he was recognized by a jury of Grammy-winning producers including Rafael Arcaute, Tweety González, Nico Kalwill, and Andrés Mayo.

De Mata has shared the stage and line-up with prominent Latin American artists such as Pedro Aznar, David Lebón, Juanchi Baleirón, Marciano Cantero, Gillespi, Enanitos Verdes, Emmanuel Horvilleur, and Eruca Sativa. He has performed for audiences exceeding 20,000 people, including the official Gustavo Cerati Tribute Concert and Argentina’s National Harvest Festival, both broadcast live nationwide. His second album’s official presentation at Wine Rock was broadcast live by Vorterix, Argentina’s leading streaming channel.

As a performer and producer, he collaborates with the UNCuyo Symphony Orchestra and leads large-scale symphonic productions, including Four Seasons Recomposed, Avengers Symphonic, Fito Páez Symphonic, Queen Symphonic, Women of Pop – Symphonic, and The Beatles: A Symphonic Journey, for which he is also the artistic producer and orchestral arranger.

He has released two solo albums — Efecto Movimiento and Absoluto Instinto — and leads DeMT_, an experimental project blending electronic music, acoustic performance, and immersive sound. His debut album presentation earned him the distinction of “Outstanding Cultural Figure of the Year,” and Absoluto Instinto was nominated for Best Male Artist Album at the Premios Escenario.

His formal training includes multiple professional specializations from Berklee College of Music’s Continuing Education Division, focusing on music production and technology, as well as advanced courses endorsed by AES Argentina, Universidad de Mendoza, and Universidad Tres de Febrero. He was invited by Universidad de Palermo to lecture on immersive audio and new technologies.

David De Mata continues to develop his work as a vocal coach, music producer, and arranger under DeMT_ Works, combining artistic creativity with technical expertise to deliver innovative performances and productions.
